I did not answer when they called me but did call the number on the caller ID back from my work phone at (619)299-8041. The woman who answered identified herself as Sam and the company as Renewable energy Producers after I asked. They did not answer with their company name or the operator's name. I informed them that my phone number is on the National Do Not call list and they should be checking their calling list against it. I told her I wanted my phone number removed from the list and proceeded to tell her my number when she cut me off and said that she cannot do that and that I would need to call back from my cell phone number. I refused to do that and told her that I gave her the number to remove and if they refuse to do so I will report it to the National Do Not Call list and file a formal complaint with the FCC. During the call she said that they were contacting home owners (of which I am not).
