These animals (and yes, they are animals) called me today from 925-524-3099. It was a number tracing back to California, but I'm pretty sure the number is spoofed/faked. When I hit '1' to speak to a live person, they immediately identified themselves as being with "your bank" and represent VISA/Mastercard. I played along and politely started digging into more info about their company. This made the caller "John" (yeah right), very uncomfortable and he kept on saying he was with Client Services with MY bank. When I told him I had multiple banks and which one it was, he became verbally abusive and sarcastic, saying, "oh you're one of THOSE types!!". We went into a short exchange where I tried with futility to get him to give me his employee # or corporate address, but naturally he wouldn't and started blatantly making up info. Eventually he hung up after feeling he had given me a piece of his mind (poor guy didn't have much to begin with).

Long story short, I don't think these people are legitimate and hate the fact our government isn't doing enough to track and shut them down. For what it's worth and you get this call - don't bother wasting your time by pressing 1. All that will happen is that you will get potentially frustrated and no one will enforce the laws and put these people away. Sad...
