Caller ID says from Flagstaff, AZ. It was a female and she said the call is about a check my wife wrote to Winn Dixie back in 1998 for $23.00, says we now owe $189.00 and if not paid, it will be sent to the credit bureau. Says I can view a copy of the check online and gave me an account number to check. I went to the site, but there is no copy of a check. Only an invoice of all the information she told me. I figured this was scam especially for a check written in 1998 and a bank that no longer exist.
