This is 100% a scam. I'm having a blast calling them back and talking about random stuff with them. Y'all should also. I told one guy my daughter had diarrhea and needed sleep help cleaning it off the walls and could be please send someone! Keep calling them back and messing with them. They will take you off the list.

Scam call, claiming to be from HP, same as another comment here reports. Wanted me to download something, I think? Very hard to understand. As soon as I said I would not make any changes to my computer based on an unsolicited call, he hung up.

Indian gentleman. Called and said he was with HP and that my computer had downloaded some malware/virus and was sending error logs to HP. Said he was going to help me remove the malware. He knew everything about my computer, even the model. Was extremely odd.

Called and stated he worked for the United States National Security Agency (NSA) and that my computer was sending messages to North Korea because of a virus. He reminded me pornography is illegal in North Korea and I could face problems with the United Nations because of my infected computer. So I asked him how he knew this while sitting in India? he laughed and said this isn't a joke. I'm scared now, why is my computer in the middle of a multi national incident? Should I let him charge my credit card $750 to have me removed from the North Korean red list?

Indian accent. Claims he works for a company called Windows PC Services in Houston TX. Hung up when I started to quiz him about the company and why would my computer send error messages to his company.
