Call on screen showed 209 396 5699 message said to call back on 931 572 5273 interdivision /mediation services ??

Robot voice mail- so I called them back. I suspect the woman who answered the phone put me on hold for about 10 seconds the agent working this case is in court - she ended up "handling" my call. I suspect she was on a tin can and a string underwater because the audio quality was atrocious. She immediately jumped into trying to verify personal information. Asked for the last for of my social, told them I wouldn't confirm or deny any personal information. Said then I must be who they're looking for. Told them to validate the debt to the address on file, they hung up.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM

Threatened that I have some pending complain for defrauding a banking institute, said I took out a payday loan 5 years ago and then closed my bank account in order to not pay them back. Yeah sounds
serious - I'd get right on that except the fact that this IS A SCAM!

They can give me no info/written documentation on this aledged payday loan and they dont even have all my info. They asked me for my address and personal info -- well if I have a complaint on me that they going to file charges on me for, then they would already have my personal info and only need to verify it with me. TOTAL B.S. way for them to get your SS number and personal info -- leading up to getting your bank account number or credit card number.

For one I didn't take out a payday loan,
two I've had the same bank account for 15 years and can get records showing no money from a payday loan company way placed into my account, and three - Payday loans via a business store front, online, and or from a company out of state are illegal in my state of Arizona.

This is some sort of scam using scare tactics by saying, they are a collection company that works for an attorney and unless you pay them such and such amount of money via bank account or credit card they will file criminal fraud charges -- It is just not true.

Payday loan scam will most likely put you on hold right after they pick up and the so called debt will be from years ago almost making you think you may have at one point used one. It is in fact a scam and a big one. This is the second time within two months I have received these calls from people claiming to be from multiple companies. After harassing them right back by consistently calling back after they would hang up on me they had blocked my number completely so I started calling from my wife's phone. After harassing them some more a few times from her phone the last phone call I had made all of a sudden was not interdivision mediation but was PCP debt collection services. Funny how that works. So if anyone calls from this number just harass them back and you won't hear from them again. But do not disclose any information with them. They will not tell you any details that you want to know until you " verify" your social with them.
