(949) 226-0068 Received call very thick accent, had my name, address, insurance carrier and car make & model. Had to ask him 4 times to repeat himself - finally made out that he was saying he was with my insurance carrier and that I had qualified for a 35% discount for my insurance and wanted to veryify my details, which I did not. I said who are you saying you are with again "GEICO" OK well I am going to hang up and call Geico now to talk with them. He said OK please hold one moment I will transfer you to my supervisor. He literally handed the phone to a guy sitting next to him. Another heavy laden accent. I had to ask him 3 times to repeat - he said the same thing the other person did and was wanting me to confirm my details and give him some other information. I stopped him and said, NOPE stop right there, I am calling my insurance company now and I will verify with them if your call is legitimate - he started screaming at me on the phone what was my problem don't I want to have the discount. NOPE I don't I want to report you to the authorities. He slammed the phone down. I called GEICO to report this so they would report this to their consumer affairs department.
