Elizabeth Moore called it showed Auburn NY 315-258-1038 on CID wanted to speak to owner. I told her if she was Elizabeth then I would play along.. I then asked what company she said Merchant Funding I asked if Merchant Funding was actually the name of the company she replied I can tell you're not interested I'll put you on the DNC list. I can only hope she did.

Caller ID: MERCH FUNDING. Elizabeth Moore, asked to speak to business owner. I very NICELY gave her a hard time, asked if we’d spoke before, “I feel like we’ve talked. Have we talked?” She just kept asking to speak to the business owner (which is ME). Hung up and blocked.

MERCHANT is what comes up on caller-id. Spoke to a woman named Rebecca. I immediately instructed her to put us on her Do-Not-Call list and she acted as if she wanted to argue with me. When I told her the same once again, she said "No Problem". We shall see if they comply with Federal Law or not...

Called. Before I answered I noticed that it was a telemarketer via the caller id. I just answered hello instead of the usual greeting and was asked if I could hand the phone over to my boss about active capital. Instant "No Thank You" and then said bye and hung up.

When I asked what company she was representing she said "Merchant account(?)" or something. She was asking to speak with the owner of the business or anyone who has an authority on making [business] decisions. I smell telemarketer.
