John Smith called from 1-949-4131 and left a message on my cell and work number and said not to disregard calling him back or he will need to take immediate action. This guy sounds like arabic or indian, and what would he be doing with a name like John Smith. I left his message on my work phone so I could have the police try and trace this guy. This is a rip off call and they are trying to get money out of hard working people like us.

Called me at work and said he was attorney Jeffrey Morgan. Said he was calling about a bad debt. When I told him I didn't know anything about this he transferred me to a Mike Robinson (neither sounded like a Jeff or Mike- pretty sure both are from India but hey what the heck it is possible I suppose). I told Mike I am at work I will have to call you back. He said I better call them back fast or they would sue me. He gave me this number which I called back 15 minutes later outside of my office. He answered and said he would have to call me back in 10 minutes. I said look I am at work and you shouldn't be calling me at work. Don't ever call me at work. What do you want. He went nuts and said he was going to dispatch the security police immediately to arrest me and then hung up. Security police? Hmmm.... not thinking this guy is from the states. Something is fishy here. Reported it to the Fair Trade Commission. Never did find out what debt he was calling about but if it was legitimate you would think they would behave a little more professional.

they've called me, as well. Some no-English-speaking guy calls and says his name is attorney john smith! I said, 'john, huh? your name really is john? well you certainly don't sound like a john smith. he then attempted to be sarcastic with me (which i found hysterical) and say to me 'no you worry about how my voice sounds'. my suggestion is to not get upset, but rather try to maintain control. we all know it's a scam. getting upset, yelling and screaming at them only turns them on, so to speak.

I would also like to add that, when I called my infomation to ask who this number belongs to 949-600-4131, they stated that they have no name listing or address for that number, NOW if you are a "ANTTONERY" then you should be listed, with a street address and name.

At 8:25am I receive a call from a Jeffery Morgan, stating that I have a law site against me, he stated that he was an Sr. Attonery, from a account but refuse to give me any information, stating that he will send the police, to take me to jail FOR WHAT!!!! mind you he stating that he was calling from Calif. thinking I am stupied which I know Calif is 3 hours behind Michigan time, so that would make it 5:25am I don't know any Attornery that would get up at 5:25am and start calling people, I really think it's a scam and if I did have a law suite ANY attonery will send you something in the mail, stating that. Hard A lot of voice Airbic and India voices in the background. COME ON NOW let's get it together. When I went online to look for the address he gave me, it was not there, then when I check with google earth it showed some crazy looking building, then on top of that when I ask for the address it seem as though he had to think of it.
