Called, left message saying they were from the IRS and that I have a warrant out for my arrest.

received a recorded call from a Steve Smith with the IRS stating they are trying to find me before they send my file to the local police department to arrest me. This is a hoax.

First caller said he was Steve Smith. Called back for fun and was told either I give them information or I get arrested. When I asked his location he hung up on me. Man in poor English was obviously reading a script.
I just got a call saying it was the IRS saying there is an investigation against me and to call that number back before they notify my local police. To call back now to keep from getting arrested.
Same thing here. He/She did not even know whom they're calling.
This is a scam.. my sister received the same thing. Ignore it!!
