Caller claimed to be a representative from Xerox and that it looked like we were due to order toner for our copy machine. I had just ordered toner a month ago, but went to make sure. Didn't need any. Got back on the phone and said that we didn't need any and that when we do, we normally order from our local company (the number came up on my screen from Santa Ana, CA). At this point in the conversation, he became incredibly snotty, saying that's where he was calling from, and didn't I hear him say that earlier? He then was very belittling. I called our local copy company and she said they had received a call from another earlier in the week about a $700 invoice from Santa Ana.
