Girl caller from Hemet, Ca. claimed she was the daughter of a former classmate and that she was in jail for impersonating a solicitor for the Fireman and Police Benefit Association. Said I had to send $550. via PayPal to the court n Hemet NOW to get her out of jail !!! And that she need at least $1000. to pay a lawyer. I never had any classmates like she claimed when I was in school in my country and never here in the United States of America where I now am a dual citizen. what's this world coming to when people like that can get away with such a thing? Never does that happen in my home country - it is not tolerated and people like that are tracked and dealt with.

Of course this is nothing but a scam. You never give to anyone unless you can verify it's legit yourself.
Call came as Hemet Calif. on caller ID. Man who spoke after a noise long tune to turn off the robo call....he came on thinking I answered the phone & says "This is Ray Cruse-it" (spelled it that way so you pronounce name), "how are you today...........are you still there?"

Another web, their complaints say caller wants your credit card for money for the firemen, police, some say they were told the call is from National Patrolmen's Assoc.

Said his name was Mark Morris and that he was calling on behalf of an organization that gives money to the families of police offers killed in the line of duty. When I said he couldn't count on me to return an envelope with a donation he hung up. Has called many times but this was the first time I answered.

Calls all the time --- has been for weeks -- I just ignore iD as "patrolmens"
