Received a threatening phone call from a man with an Indian accent. Said the police would come and arrest me at my workplace and that I better have an attorney available. He said we had taken a loan and had not paid up. He had my SSN# and all other details. We have called the police-just want to stop this nonsense.

I had the same incident today. They have been calling me several times. And I just let my voicemail get it. And then I have checked them recently ( the voicemail so the little icon at the top dissappears) and he called several times leaving messages about a law suit and how he needs my attorney information. Its one thing to call me on my cell phone..but when they call on my work phone, and then when i hang up , call the main line.

I then called back after the receptionist came in and told me that someone is on the line for me. I then proceeded with the call and tried to handle it the best I could. He said something about a summons and how the sheriff was coming to my job to summons me. I asked him what I was being summons for and he couldnt even tell me. So I told him that I come from a long line of attorneys and lawyers, and that if he calls harrassing me again, I will have him summons, and if I find out he got my name and info illegally ( which it seems) I will sue him. Then I proceeded to say, STOP CALLING ME YOUR NOT EVEN IN AMERICA!

Is there some form we can fill out to stop these calls, who do WE contact?

I got the same call and told the bastard that I called my attorney and the FBI is on this case...So if anyone is going to be arrested that Mother f*&^% better be prepared

Received two call s from this operation. First one message on answering machine. I returned calls as soon as retrieved from machine. Without going into all of the details I can tell you that this individual who represents himself as an attorney called my kDaughter (who is an attorney) an "MF'er as well as terminology I do not accept. After first representing themselves (first message) as being from the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT when my daughter spoke with him he finally admitted to being a Bill Collector (who knows if that is true as to my knowledge I never took out a loan). Bottom line he informed my Daughter that he would be calling daily also be calling my place of employment which is totally unacceptable as I do not make or receive calls from my place of employment. Man has a VERY HEAVY MIDDLE EASTERN accent that was difficult for me to understand. I had the police to my residence and filed a report ... next step is A VISIT TO THE FBI.

Along with all the rest of the comments, this guy calls my job phone & no one responds from his end, while I'm on the line saying "Hello" a few times, a voice message comes in with the same number and proceeds to telling me that it is time sensitive that I return the call and he was calling from a law office. Well I don't use my job phone for any personal business and this is what this guy was calling on, so I picked up my cell phone and attempted to make several calls back to this number and each time the line got disconnected. People really need to stop playing games with other people lively hood and go get a real job.

I received a call from this 951-489-0223 this morning on my cell phone. I didn't recognize the number so I let it go to voicemail. When I checked my voicemail it was an middle-eastern female with a heavy accent sounded like she said her name was Christy Bell. (?) I needed to return her time sensitive call immediately. Me or my attorney needed to call back at her 'hotline' 951-489-0223 cause if I didn't all she could do was to wish me luck as the situation unfolds on me. I decided to call back from my work number while on my lunch break. Some Asian guy answered the phone I explained I was returning a call he asked me to provide the number that the call was made to so I gave him my cell #. He started to tell me that he was calling to inform me that the Sherriff's was coming to my job (he knew the name) within the next 24 hrs to arrest me and to serve me with a summons filed by his client. I was shocked and he asked me if I knew why I was being sued. Of course my answer was NO! he said he would explain the summons info BUT I needed to let him speak and not interrupt him until he was done and at that time I could ask him questions. So I let him tell me that his 'client' Cash Advance USA was suing me for 3 felony charges 1. for violation of banking regulations 2. check fraud and 3. deception of some kind because I went online using my personal email address (which he had) and applied for a payday loan that his client funded to my account and that when the payment was due the money to be debited from my account was not there and in client's eyes I 'stole their money' and that was against the law. So the police was coming to my job to arrest me on these felony charges and to serve me with legal court papers. Done. So I begin to speak and he hungs up on me. A-Hole! so I call back. He picks up not saying a single word and hangs up. Must have caller Id. So I redial and he hangs up again. This went on for 15 mins or better. By this time I had to come back from lunch and I call back again and he answers my call by saying "don't call here anymore I don't wanna talk to you" I said "wait a minute you said I could ask you questions when you finished telling me what was happening, I didn't get a chance to ask my questions and that doesn't seem fair." silence. So I ask "Can I ask you the questions I have?" and get this - he replies "NO, suck my d**k" and he hangs up. True story - just happened todady

He threatened to hAVE MY WIFE ARRESTED AND WHEN QUESTIONED HE HUNG UP. When I called back He cursed at me and hung up.

he is now using the name Mark Cooper and he called my job and my cell.. same story as others.
someone needs to put a stop to this.. I was scared and thought this was something my EX husband didnt pay back and I was going to get stuck with. MAn is very rude and mean.. I called back several time and he hung up on me!!!

Yea, I just received a phone call from this foreign dude saying that I have charges against me and he had my last 4 of my social security number. He told me to call back and ask for Roger. It's funny that the phone number he gave me to call was the EXACT same number he just called from.

Same. He called me names and said to get a lawyer and police r coming to arrest me at 3pm at my work!

Same situation, stating they are coming to my job to arrest me tomorrow morning,... STUPIDITY is what i call it, i should get their address and send police to go and arrest them!

Received a call stating that he is from a law office, and that a law suit has been brought against me. And that I need to call this number called this number got a rude gentleman stating that not to talk until he was finish talking. I asked for someone that I could understand that speaks English and he hung up on me. I called back and got a lady who says they are not a collection agency that she needed my lawyers phone number regarding a payday loan that I had not repayed. But would not give anymore info. Was old by the rude man that the plice would be coming to my job to arrest me.
