Same as everyone else. I got a call stating that I had charges filed against me for theft by deception. That I got a loan and the money was deposited straight into my bank account and the local sheriffs were coming to arrest me and deliver my subpeona. Funny the people I talked to said I needed to speak to Roger, then when I called back "Jenny Smith" answered. This is bull. I've been through hell and back the past few months and if there's a way to press charges against THEM I'd like to know how. Just don't panick like I did, my boss had to calm me down. Still shaking though, I'm pissed.

A man called me this morning and said I needed to call this number to see what legal charges are against me. When I asked what this was about he said it was about a payday loan I took out and didn't pay - I don't have any payday loans out...when I questioned him further he said just to call a number and they will tell me why I'm being sued - and the same person appeared to be on the phone each time I called and told me I have a warrant out for my arrest and then he hung up on me each time - and he also told me "good luck, the police will be there to arrest you at 5:00pm." in a VERY mean attitude - the man also had a very thick accent - like a middle-eastern accent.

foreign guy claiming to be a para legal called me and told me i was being sued for defaulting on a payday loan. when questioned about the loan he told me i needed to call and speak with Roger. Roger told me i was being sued,when i told him i didn't have any payday loans he told me i would be arrested.

I got two calls in a row from this number and a message stating I needed an attorney and if I don't have one they wish me luck. I called the number back and they asked if I'd been called by the Sheriff's office because they were coming to arrest me at my job. They had my job address, home address, and said I took out a payday loan with cash in advance. When i asked how much and when it was deposited, he yelled at me and said you will find that out when you go to court. I asked for a phone number to call Cash in Advance and again he yelled at me and said he is the legal department for Cash in Advance and he called me an idiot for asking him if they sent me a letter in the mail. When I proceeded to ask another question, he hung up on me.

a man called me says i owe money called him back someone answered told me to hold on and then hung up. i tried to call back it rings once and then hangs up

Called my cell phone left a message and told me his name was Ricky Martin. Stated that I needed to get an attorney (not sure why). He had a very strong middle-eastern accent and could not understand anything else that he said. You can hear noise in the background like other people talking. He wished me good luck if I didn't get back in touch with him.

Says I owe money and being sued

Today was the second call I received from this guy, the first one came from Ohio, this one is now California, claim that I owe on a payday loan, and that if I pay they will not have me arrested. They called this morning and left a messag on my cell phone, and have now contacted me at my store. I informed the that I would not speak to them, and that I was contacting the police and hung up. I do not owe on a payday loan, which he states I took out over a year ago, never have received any letters from a collection company, nor have I anything on my credit report. I think this is a hoax......to try and intimidate me into giving money I do not owe.......does anyone have any information on this guy or even if he is legi????

Same story as everybody is talking about this people, how do I stop them from calling?

Im getting the same responces from this people they keep calling and they are a pain in the %^$& so what do I need to do so they will stop calling

His name is Matt Cooper, remarked that I needed to get an attorney because I would have a lawsuit against me. He was rude and vulgar when I returned the call. Did not mention the name of company, only that I needed an attorney.

i stated that i was going to jail at my job or the morning on via 8/19. the man was rude would give to much information. the man was using vulgar langauage and stated i need to get an attonery and that his names is dan morgan and that he had a badge and that he refused to give any kind of supervioeron what it was about. i got in contaact with the police and the poilce spoke to the dan morgan and he hungup on the police officer. i got an incident report 11-1489 and the police gathered his information.

calls and threatens job and jail time and is persistent

A man said you I owe money and that there is a lawsuit against me. That I would get arrested the next day at work and they were going to talk to my employer and tell them what kind of person I am. The person on the phone said he was a lawyer and will not provide any type of information.
