I too recieved a phone call from a guy i couldnt understand talking about a loan that i know i didnt take out, its crazy to see all the comments because that confirms that its a scam.

I got the same call as all of you except he was using the number 9165387239. He said he was an attorney and that i was in trouble. When I call back a lot of times it goes straight to a beep and other times he answered it. He wants over 3000 to clear up some kind of pay day loan.

Steve Brown was the first call that left a message. Then I called the number and got Max Gamble, Esq. He told me that I had criminal charges regarding Federal Registration. I have no idea what that is. So I called my attorney and he also called and got no answer just a beep. I called back and did get Mr. Gamble again and he told me to go to the courthouse in Calf. I live in NY. This should NOT be happening. I would like to report them. But I don't know where to report them.

I got this same type of call today from some John Smith, heavy Indian accent...threatening me about some so called legal matter. I am almost certain it's a scam after seeing the othern posts. It's also possible that he got my info from a on-line payday loan. This terrible that Money Mutual allows "scam artists" to get peoples personal info....someone needs to reprimand them as well. He claimed that I must call or my attorney...if I didn't call good luck on what was about to unfold on me. Funnyn how each time I called...it went to a voice mail, no one ever answered. I am very sorry that i ever applied for a paydayn loan on line and weill never never do it again.

Recived voice mail stating name was Max Robinson and for myself or my "representing atty" to call back ASAP. Time was of the utmost importance. Said that if I choose to ignore the call (could not understand what he mumbled after that) and God bless me. He has also called me at work a couple of times identifying himself as Max Gamble. He has an extremely thick Indian accent and can barely be understood. My co-worker is also getting these same type of calls from another number and they are actually threatening her with showing up at work!!!

Thats him, but he used a different name, same statement. He is a stupid sick individual, but he will be reported. And this number he used for me was 951-253-3313.

I TOO HAVE BEEN REICING CALLS FROM THESE SOCALLED ATTORNEYS AND PARALEGALLS SCAM SCAM SCAM THEY TOLD ME THAT I WAS TO PAY 1500 BY TOMARRO OR THAT I WAS GOING TO JAIL AND THIS WAS A FESERAL CASE!!! SCARED ME AT FIRST BUT WENT WITH THERE SICK LIL GAME GOT A LIL MORE INFO OFF OF THEM SO IM DOING MY HOMEWORK TO SEE WHAT I CAN COME UP WITH. THIS NUMBER (951)253-3312 THEY SAID ITWAS LAW OFFICES OF MAX GAMBLE. AND THIS IS THE OTHER NUMBER (219)413-3835 TONY ABRAHN AND JOHN J. RAAY OR JORDAN. THESE PEOPLE ARE STUPID CAUSE THEY THOUGHT THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO VERIFY WHAT THEY SAID. WWELLGOOD LUCK TO ALL!!

This number called twice today for someone other than myself who is not keeping up with her loan payments. I asked them to change their records to reflect the fact that my number did not belong to the individual in question. "I've gotten in excess of 80 calls in the past two weeks for [redacted] with whom I have no affiliation. Please change your records". (This is true) A heavily accented man, likely from India, said this would be done. I believe he said he was calling on behalf of the attorney Max Gamble.

i just got a call from these fools, indian guy with a heavy accent. he says im in serious trouble i have a criminal case against me and i need to call Max Gamble/Cambell to get details. i did apply for a payday loan last saturday and today my phone is on fire!!!! fuckers even have my ss# shit!!!!!!!!!!!

I was called at work three times and they left a meesage and stated that it was concering a legal matter. I called them back this morning and they hung up on me when I informed them that I had seen this website and they were scam artist. It was a man with a foregin accent, who said that i had a lawsuit against me. I told him that I did not know they people he stated were suing me.

I got a call today to contact that guy too! with that number and both sounding Indian. He told me the same things I've seen on here and when I told him I don't know that loan company, I didn't receive any money and I take you to court about if I have to.. HE HUNG UP RIGHT AWAY! This is a scam and he even said I could settle this out of court if I pay $400. Be careful, God bless.

This just happened to me this morning. Some indian guy barely able to understand told me I had a lawsuit against me and he was shocked no one had gotten in touch with me and I should call MAX GAMBLE immediately and find out what the claim is. Im so glad I came on line first and saw all these messages. They sound EXACTLY like the call I got this morning and AT WORK even.....

I got the exact same call this morning. He made it seem as though he was shocked that I didn't know about these "charges" against me. Well, the reason I didn't know is because they are a scam. He said that he was an attorney, so I asked him in what state. He said California, so I asked him what his California Bar Number is. He was dumbfounded and got all upset. I kept turning the questions back on him and he starting yelling and then he just hung up. Total scam! There were so many inconsistencies in everything he said. These guys make me sick.

i have been getting these phone calls saying i have 3 charges pending against me all they keep telling me is to call max gamble and speak with him. i have not filed for a payday loan in about 2 weeks but something has to give these sites are suppose to be "safe"

I just literally a few minutes ago got a call from these people too. How? I dont know but I have gotten calls from these type of ppl for YEARS now. i fell for it once, n i guess they keep thinkn im a good target. But i learned and i researched. I was just an afraid pregnant college student. but now i work for the law and i know better. PLEASE DONT GIVE THESE A$$ HOLES ANY MONEY AND DONT FALL FOR IT. IF IT IS LEGIT, THEY WOULD SEND U A LETTER FIRST. TELL THEM TO STOP HARASSING YOU, ESPECIALLY IF THEY CALL U AT WORK.

Calls my employer several times a day claimed he was from a fedral law firmand that i had a fraudulant loan and that there are 3 law firms involved

I called repeatedly and asked for John Smith who was the alleged caller they finally had enough n stopped calling actually asked me to stop after leaving me messages threatening a law suit. thought they wanted to speak to me ha. Any ideas on who the company is that is releasing personal info to these scanners that's who needs to be sued its illegal to share customer info

Some guy named Derek Smith called my work number asking for me stating that he worked for an attorney's office. The receptionist asked why don't you call her @ home? And he stated that she doesn't answer her phone. Humm? Unfortunately, I made the mistake of applying for a Money Mutual loan on-line & this scam hacker got my information off of a "so-called" safe site!! I'm calling the Attorney General & Channel 3, Call Kurtis on this matter!! It's one thing to call my cell phone, but it's a whole different ball game when SCAMMERS try to harrass you at work!!

Oh, and the receptionist said he did speak with a very heavy "foreign" accent, and she asked what was the law firm name that he worked for, and he would not answer her. She mentioned to me that she gets the same scam calls on her cell phone also!!

That's exactly what happen to me! he first called my cell phone then my work, and sure enough i applied for a payday loan and that's how this fool has all my personal information! When i asked who are you and how do you have all my info... he says "listen to me, you need to call back this number you have a case against you and i will report you to the superior court and FBI" seriously this idiot

This bastard! this man with a heavy accent! it's a scam! make a police report I did! he knew all my personal information, he got it online, becareful to not apply for things online on certain sites!
