They say there from social security and my ssn will be suspended unless I call a certain phone number.
don't owe credit and never had account they claim
They called again today and never leave a message. I simply do not answer any call that I do not recognize. They average once or twice a day from this number.
These scumbags call about loan accounts that have been closed for over 10 and 20 years and from lenders who no longer exist trying to intimidate people into paying them any amount that they think they collect. They never give up and call from hundreds of different phone numbers all across the country.
Unknown caller, calling from a New York number, however when I look up the number it says it's actually coming from a country called Peru. So what's happening is the unknown caller who is really in a different country . is using a New York number to spoof their number giving the impression that they're calling from within the United States. This is a fraud and scam to try to get your personal information to compromise your privacy and your financials. Take my advice and do as I'm doing for all of these spoof numbers and block them. Again they're using numbers that they purchase from United States and behind that number is really a international number pretending to be a US number. They're trying to fool you into thinking they are legitimate. Again take my advice and block the number save yourself pain heartaches and suffering. You don't want to end up like those scam artist that they investigate and talk about on TV. Like investigative reports. Block the number
