8/15/2015. I received a call from William Goodman from smp travel services today and he was telling me that we owed around $900 plus a $500 fee bc we did not cancel our trip/contract in enough time. My husband signed up unfortunately for a trip or cruise in the Bahamas/Florida area bc they said he won it. My husband is very gullible unfortunately and we already did pay them around $700 on a credit card back in 2013. We were getting married and he was trying to surprise me with a honeymoon. Due to unforeseen problems in our family this trip was not possible and we figured we were out the money bc we never followed up with the planning of the trip. Back then I knew this was too good to be true. Supposedly we were set up to look at time shares and since we never went or canceled our trip they are now telling us we owed around $1400. He then put me on hold and said his financial supervisor waived some fees and we can owe $599 and then still go ona trip bc at this point we would have paid $1300. I had trouble understanding all this info and could not understand how we owed money for a ticket for a trip that we never went on. William got rude, loud and ignorant with me. He was telling me to stop yelling when he was much louder than me. Never have I dealt with a professional company in this manner. Eventually I figured well my husband got us screwed into something so lets see how we can resolve this and get this paid off bc supposedly we broke a contract. I told them I need to go on a payment plan bc I cannot pay $599 now. He said if that could not be paid within two weeks the cost will go back up to $1400 and also they wouldn't give me info to send a check inor work out any payment arrangement other than paying the full amount. I am not an idiot. Company's want there money so they will work with you. They wanted a check over the phone that I could not give them bc I don't own checks. I do everything electronically. He then tells me your original merchant will be charged the $1400. I said who is the original merchant. It was when my husband first stupidly agreed in the beginning and paid them around $700 when he thought he won something. He used my mother in laws credit card which has since been closed. William Goodman continued to tell me my mother in laws account would be charged if we don't pay the $599 now. I told him that account has since been closed. All of a sudden the tables were turning. He said why didn't you tell me that. Why would I have, that had no bearing on the conversation. He said all of a sudden you have nothing to worry about. I said how. We are in a contract. But he said well seeing your circumstances, and we don't want to involve your mother in law, I will talk to my supervisor and try and have this hole thing wiped clear. Owing nothing. I kept my cool bc I still was processing everything but in the long run, it was a huge scam. They realized they couldn't get money from us immediately so they said no worries. I am supposed to call this other number on Monday to get a confirmation number on the cancellation but we'll see. There is more to the story too but too many details to explain clearly. The other person we talked to in the supposed financial department was Antonio delposo. So make sure to steer clear of these people, smp travel and the evergreen summer starfish bay resort which was the place with the timeshare. We were out money back in 2013 which we sucked up but this today was ridiculous. I hope nobody else gets taken by them.

My mom had the same thing happen. She keeps getting called from 954-400-5655, they said they were SMP Travel. They told her she owed money from a trip she never took. She finally gave in and paid and then regretted it and cancelled the check. They have been calling multiple times daily. After that she tried to call back the phone number and no one answered. Finally when someone did answer, they said 'corporate office'. It sounded like a scam.

5/21/2015 Antonio Delpozo called from this number. He had no web site for his company, SMP Travel services. He said we owed $1800 from a Florida Bahama/Orlando/Daytona vacation package that we ordered in 2012 and never took (we did take the vacation in 2014) and went to three time share presentations but he said it was not recorded that we went to the presentations.

He said he could rectify my account with them if I would just pay him $499. Then he would get rid of the phone calls and everything would be resolved. If I don’t pay the bill, it will be sent to collections.

Like a dummy, I gave him my bank information (my routing number and check #2024, including my account number.)
He gave me no invoice, no paper work, no web site to check him out and make sure he is a legitimate company. When I called the number, 954-400-5654, I could not get ahold of a person, (the phone rang and rang, unlike a regular business.) Finally I got ahold of a person after several days of trying. I asked, “May I please speak with Antonio Delpozo?” The guy asked, “Who? Oh, I mean, sure, ANTONIO, phone call for you….” It sounded like a fraudulent business.

Antonio was suppose to send me an email showing the transaction and information regarding my “account” the next day. I never got an email. I went to the bank and closed my account. About three weeks later, Antonio called me and complained that the check did not go through. Then he got his “general manager” on the phone who wanted to tell me of my “options”, that we would go to plan B, but he would not listen to me and began yelling at me for not sending in the payment and not “listening to reason.” I did not write down his name or ID number that he gave me because I was so upset. Antonio has been calling me every day, several times a day, even on Sunday.

Scam company who bought old travel sales from a company called travel t. Travel t had an F on Bbb and is a scam company. Do not pay attention to this co.

Annoying calls about three or more calls daily. Harassing me about a trip purchase I do not care to take.
It is redundant and very deranged like behavior. Really! Daily!
