Paid contribution solicitor. Will never meet a BBB Standard of Giving because of the high percentages that go to the solicitor's company. demand to be placed on their DO NOT CALL List. Caller pressed for a credit card contribution. I told him to send a pledge card but I WOULD NOT obligate until I verified their Standard of Giving status. I was thanked and caller hung up. I also have an unlisted number which I unfortunately gave the PBA when I made a contribution 3.75 yrs. ago. They have repeatedly called me even though I have repeatedly requested my number be removed from their list. I love the people who helped my husband when he needed it but HATE the constant harassment of the PBA. They call several times each year during their annual drive. This time I told them to remove my number the first time they called. The second time they called I said hello three times and no one said a word. No, my answering machine wasn't on. They were harassing me. If I could block them from my landline I would.
