they called and got my disabled daughter upset when she answered the phone .. they said that there was an emergency problem with my computer and they located my phone number somehow through my ip address and if we didnt fix the problem that it would cost us 5000 dollars.. they had my disabled daughter thinking they were going to shut our computer down and that she was going to be put in jail if she didnt send money to them.. when i took phone away from her and got on the phone with them they tried to tell me the same thing and when i threatened them with a lawsuit for lying and causing my daughter grief they hung up

Portfolio Recovery I have been bothered by them for ten years. I just refuse to talk to them. The cannot touch me.
But here is a neat little secret. I forward my home phone through google voice and google screens all my calls.
I never get the calls any more. I have a second phone in the house and can pick up without the worry of having to deal with these clowns.

Spread the word. There's a BBB Fraud alert out on these guys in N.Y.

Receive repeated telephone calls from this Company. They have no idea who they are calling and proceed to become irate when asked for any information.
