These people are rude and will try to get any iformation out of you they can. They cannot collect debt that has been removed, whether via bancrupcy or charged off that is over 10 yrs old ! just entertain them with a song or some other nonsense lol it's funny cause they actually get frusturated. ROFLMAO!!!!

these guys really suck azz.... they are calling about a debt I had from 2000 and they just started to call me on it. I didn't tell them it was mine back then, I told them they had the wrong (my name) after they told me what it was so MAYBE I won't be hearing from them again.

PORTFOLIO RECOVERY **** I get calls from them daily. They must have bought a new batch of numbers. So far I have 16 numbers that they use (this is for a debt that has been clear for over 15 years).. I received a call just a few minutes ago from them. Two days ago I got a letter in the mail stating I owed over $5,500 on a debt which was originally less than $1,000. The debt is from 1997-1998 and it is now almost 2011. Sorry, but I don't think so.

954-622-9827 is bottom feeder scammer Portfolio Recovery. They buy ancient debt then try to screw you on it. I actually talked to one of these azzholes and the lady wanted to talk to my wife. Isaid who is calling she said 'this is a business matter' I told her I have been married to wife for 22 years and her business is my business. She told me it was from Computer Learning Center, get this, in 1989!!! Are you kidding me? In 2010, sorry, by time you read this it will be 2011, they are calling on a debt from Reagan Administration? She said 'there is a 12% interest rate' on it. I told her it was long since paid so she needs to get current. BOTTOM LINE: if you owed something even as mundane as $100 to obscure place like Swiss Colony or Discover, they try to collect then when all else fails, sell debts in bulk to scam companies like Portfolio Recovery who THEN add 'their fees' and 'their interest' so $100 is now "860 or whatever they deem" in a effort to EXTORT you. Extort is key word as while the original company wrote it off, Portfolio Nigerian Recovery will use a variety of means to get you to pay including harassment at work (if you are lucky to be working in Obama's sh*t economy) or home calls from variety of numbers in all locations in US including using 800, 866, 877 lines and pre paid phone cards to thwart caller ID. Let them rot in hell, Portfolio Recovery is a company that I hope goes way of Enron. Good luck with these bottom dwelling scammers.

I just got a new cell # and they call all the time. Cell company said if I change # I'll probably have the same thing again. They call around 8 am and around noon and then right before 9p.
