They said Cross County paid me money and needed a W9 sent to them. Never heard of this company.

I work at an electric company and this number called asking for a price breakdown on a homeowner's recent bill. I told them they would have to speak to the owner who was not in and asked if I could take a message. She said no that's ok and hung up.

The Company's name is showing in the caller Id is Cross Country from Fort Lauderdale, they suppose to work in connection with a home warranty company named Total Protect phone number 866-213-0246. I had a Total Protect plan, but they really never cover any home repairs, always sending somebody "fix "your house , or appliances and when they get there, they say that that repair is not under the warranty etc.....and you have to ending up to pay the provider a deductible fee. So... you don't have your appliance fixed, you have to pay the deductible. and when you call theme to complain, they ask you to fax a complain, and after you do fax all the information, you wait to somebody to follow up and call you....guess what ....That number from Cross Country call you to ask you in a rude way why you still did not send your deductible check to the provider that had been dent to your home., instead to call you to check why you are not happy with the service, etc.......So do yourselves a favor never get a home warranty plan from Total Protect... I am surprised to see good reviews in their website.

they wouldn't leave a message, when trying to call back it was "this is a non working number". I blocked them.
