My phone says soam Walmart. I have no intention on answering.

I answered the call because it said from Walmart. Said hello, no answer then a woman got on and said her name she was a chairmen of a committee to help kids . Something about gift baskets and she wanted to know if I would give an amount . I interrupted her and ask where she was calling from again and she repeated her spiel. Then I asked, so why is it coming up that you are calling from Walmart. Her response was, "I will ad you to the DO NOT CALL LIST" and hung up.

Caller ID listed as Walmart. Looked like a case of spoofing, so I ignored it.

She quoted amount like 15.00 25.00 75.00 100.00 and I said no she ask me if I would comitt to the smallest amount she mentioned and I said no. I said you can send something out and my wife would look at it and I said most organizations will accept a small amount usually they that other and one can summit any amount they wish. She kept insisting would I commit to this or that I did not want to say yes I just said no. I then said you can call my wife tomorrow she will be home and she handles stuff like this. No doubt the lady was to persistant with me I knew something was wrong.

My son works for Walmart, so I picked up thinking he was calling from there. Lady on the other end said she was calling to collect money for Leukema foundation. When I said, then why does the caller ID say Wal mart? she said Ok, I understand, Thank you & she hung up.
