The robocall starts by telling there is a warrant out for your arrest. The say they are the Treasury Department.
I got the exact same phone call. Horrible scam as I have no issues with the IRS (Never had ANY issues with my taxes). I went through to talk to them and they claimed that there was a lawsuit against me filed by the IRS but they needed my name to pull up my information. I asked if there was any way they could prove it is not a scam (because I knew it was) and they hung up on me)
I hate the scams that have the nerve of pretending they are government agencies. It disgusts me and they should be prosecuted for using those kinds of scare tactics.
