Got a call from a restricted number then the voicemail regarding my husband with similar statements listed in the comments here. If they were legitimate then you'd think they'd leave a call back number and not block their number. So, they're still trying to scam unsuspecting people.
Just got the same call about my fiancée....Pretty much word for word what other have written down to the name in the case file number. Apparently they are still active in 2020.
A total scam. They called twice in 2 days asking for my son (16 years old). Said they couldn't talk to me since I was not the respondent. I stated that I was his mother and they were not allowed to speak to a minor and they guy got testy with me. I ended up hanging up on them. Will block their number (s) .
I got a call from them re: my husband. They claimed to be from Capital Reassurance and stated that my husband was called as a respondent and they even gave me a reference number. When I called back, they said the reference number didn't matter and they just wanted my husband's last four digits of his social security, which I refused to provide. I told her I researched the company and they are noted as a scam and she got angry. She told me I was wasting her time and so I hung up. I then blocked their number, but called her back 22 times and just continuously hung up on her. You annoy me, I annoy you.
I just got a call from these people but the message was for my brother, not me. Considering my brother has not lived with me in over 40 years, I have no idea why they're calling to harass me. I certainly don't plan on calling them back.
