the caller said he was with windows, and it was an emergency call to fix my computer that was in danger of a hacker seeking personal information.

Just had a call from someone saying they were from the technical department at Microsoft, and that they had access to my computer and could tell that there was a problem.i got the same call 2day, b4 even telling me anything about the company or even the name, they asked me to go onto my computer and run it since there is a problem.

This call from Beaverton OR called at 11:11PM.... Yes, that's right... almost midnight. The 'message' left on voicemail was a ping sound and an automated "goodbye."
I work for a law office. I answered the phone and a man asked if a "lauren" was there. I told him he had the wrong number, he then asked my name, I told him and he kept repeting "I love you... I love you, baby". I hung up.
