Viruses on my computer

CARL
0

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago -- a heavy accent, possibly Hispanic --lots of what seemed to be office noise in the background -- told me that my computer was infected (which I don't think it is) -- asked whether it was on (yes), and requested that I go on it, press the Windows logo and the letter 'R', presumably as a step to let him 'in' and 'examine it'. At that point, suspecting a phishing attempt, I hung up.

The caller said he represented Windows and said my computer had downloaded viruses slowing my machine. I told him that was false, because my computer is running just fine, and hung up. Note: I downloaded Google Chrome on my computer within the last month, but deleted it from my computer. My computer does use Windows, but I access them on the Web at their official site if I need a download.

These idiots woke me up at 5:30 a.m. yesterday. Nobody there when I answered half asleep.

Called me back today (Asian or Middle East accent) I told the a_hole to quit calling my number.

He said is Mr. Miller there? I said there is not Mr. Miller here, f off. He actually had the audacity to ask me what my name was. I told him to f off again and hung up.

He played right into my hands because he kept calling me back from each of his different numbers, listed below which I have now forwarded back to them through my call forwarding service. ;-)

Ordered a Digitone Call Blocker 10 yesterday. Found it after my nights sleep ruined one time too many and started researching what to do about this since its obvious the government and FCC won't do anything.

Adios scam/spam/Telemarketers!

Here is all the numbers these scum are using that I know of:

Asian Indian scammer using fake American name attempting to gain access to my computers remotely. Call history proves me correct in that they've blackmailed people into paying large sums of money to leave victims alone. Phone companies apparently do little or nothing to stop these people.
