person claimed to be from Windows to repair my computer...complete phishing scam from India probably. Had an Indian accent when he tried to get me to let him into my computer. Told him he was a low rent scammer and hung up...they call often and they got my mother in law ( elderly) to give them info last year and they stole her credit card and ruined her life.

Cleaning my computer of viruses because they noticed that I am having many problems with my computer. When I told Adam that his call was a scam he wanted to know who told me his call was a scam. He argued with me about my knowledge that he was a scam artist.

This number called me this morning but I didn't answer it as I figured it was spam...I never answer numbers I don;t know I figured if it was important they would leave a message, but no message so not important...but I see on here other people have also been bothered by this same number...Oh well stop answering and then they can't bug you....Have a super fantastic day...

It's a scam to gain access to personal info on people's computers - said he was from "Windows" and that they were receiving "error messages" from my computer and that I needed to turn it on right away so that he could "show" me how to fix it. When I called him out on it and said that people w/ operating system problems call Microsoft tech support - they don't call us! - and asked him to lose my phone #, he got very irritable and hung up.
I googled the # - seems many people have rec'd. similar calls from this #.
