Keeps calling

They call several times a day. I have asked them numerous times to stop calling, as I am on the DNC Registry, but they just don't seem to care. I have even pushed a certain number on the phone, as they ask, if I wish to be removed from their call list. Nothing seems to stop the calls, though. When I ask them to stop calling, they hang up on me and have the nerve to call right back within seconds of hanging up. They use different numbers, as well as different solicitation ploys. However, I do feel it is the same company since they all originate from Oregon. One day it is Tom from Home Securities and other days it is Rachel from Card Services and yet other days it is a recording stating they can lower bills or credit cards. It is a shame that nothing can be done about this. What good is the DNC Registry? Even if I was in the market to buy or sign up for whatever they are selling/offering, I would never, ever consider them. They are obnoxious and extremely annoying, and, unfortunately, they know they can get away with this. Someone here mentioned that that is what voicemail is for, however, it is still annoying to hear the phone ring, stop and look to see who is calling and have these creeps interrupt whatever I may be dong.
