They call with a recorded voice saying they can reduce your interest rates and press 1 to speck to an agent. When you do and you start asking any type of questions they will Hung-up on you.

Lower credit card interest rate. When I refused to give my VISA account # to the rep and told him that I made the info up because I am on the Do Not Call list and have requested already twice for them to stop calling, he told me he was going to add my # to the international call list. I responded that I would cancel my landline. I also told him I would report this # to the FCC, at which point he said "you go to hell for that", and hung up. These people need to be stopped! They are hijacking numbers so we cannot figure out who they are.

Recorded msg prompt to reach operator to lower credit card rate. When patched thru to rep, asked which credit card they meant (since offer was about pre-existing card); operator became hostile. Said she personally did not call me; I pointed out her company did. I asked to be on do not call list. She then abruptly hung up on me. Sorry missed name of bank or lender.
