Rachel from card member services wants to lower my interest rate on my credit cards.
Too many calls with similar requests have been received at all hours, day and evening. They all show a pone number in my caller ID but a return call to that number results in a recorded,essagethat the phone number is either not a working number or that the mail box is full.

Lower credit card rate.

For 3-4 years we have been receiving recorded calls about 3-4 per week from a company called Card Members Services. The recorded message starts "This is Rachel calling from Card Member Services, this is your second and final notice ........" The calls are about lowering our credit card interest rate. Many times over this period we have tried to have our number removed from their call list so we no longer get these calls, that does not work. We have spoken with their representatives several times, when we ask to be remove from their list they hang up on us, i.e., we get nowhere and keep getting the calls. The calls are becomming very harassing, if we are gone away for a few days we can have 2 or 3 of these long messages on our answering machine which use space that would otherwise be used for important calls. The last one of these calls was received at 2:08 PM 5/02/12 from Ph 503 457-1150 and (4/30/12) 971-220-1779. They keep changing their number to a disconnected number.
