Another unwanted call from this Portland OR Tandem VOIP number arrived today, just 2½ months since the last unwanted call on Aug. 8. When the answering machine picked up, the caller responded with dead silence. This is the tactic of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who continuously troll the phone lines, desperately seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Posters have unmasked the caller as Triple V, a credit card scam operation that also places robocalls from (541) 780-0062 in Eugene OR, from (315) 801-0720 in Utica, NY, and from many other numbers nationwide. Trolls like these are the reason you should LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS!

An unwanted call from this Portland OR VOIP number arrived today. The caller didn't stay on the line long enough for the answering machine to pick up -- an obvious red flag.

The website www.whitepages.com describes this number as "scam or fraud." I'm soooooo surprised!!!!
