"Free" home security system
alarm company soliciting
To place a sign in front of my house to help prevent burglary.

GE Security System, wanted to come out to my home to do a presentation for a security system.
When I called back, the recording says I reached Pacific Telecommunications Services, but says the number is used for telecommunication purposes only. You cannot take to a real person. The guy I talked to name was Troy and he also called back asking for more information. I told him that I wanted to cancel the appt. I cancelled b/c I looked online and it showed a lot of other people being scammed by this company. The real Pacific Telecom Service website (www.ptswa.com)has an alert to report the company - Pacific Telecommunications Group in CA. It says they are not a telecommunication service provider. The website recommended reporting the call to the FTC, the FCC, and the Attorney General in our home state.
