They also called again on 4/19/2012 at 5:53 PM.
The person I spoke to tried to tell me that Equifax referred me to them to lower credit card svc. They are using different phone numbers each time. 1st time call 503-902-8479 and 2nd time from
971-373-2989. I ask to be taken off their call list and they hang up on me.

Prerecorded part said I urgently need to respond to credit issue or my file would be closed. It was my last chance to get rates for consolidating credit card debt, with a 6% rate. When I got the human on the line I said that I'd gotten several calls from them and that I was on DoNOtCall and how did they get my info the person hung up. I have gotten other calls that sounded similar but didn't track them.

Credit card reduction of balance due. AND the message left was threatening--"we have left several messages for you and if you do not call us back immediately your Credit Card and this offer may be jeopardized"... Then the recording says to 'press one" for info on how to "lower my credit card payments". I do not even have a CC . When I press one, I get a person who asks for my CC #. When I ask the person on the line for any info on the company, or my account--they hang up. This # is listed in the Do Not Call list and I get these calls several times a week.
