Credit Services: Lower Interest Rate. THIS WAS LIKELY A FRAUDULANT ATTEMPT TO STEAL MY CREDIT INFORMATION AND PII. It began as a pre-recorded call and connected with a live operator with my selection of the option to do so. I imediately requested the live operator remove me from the claling list and stated I was not interested in the services being offered. The operator placed me on hold, then came back and spent the next several minutes trying to agitate me into an argument by verbally abusing me, refering to me as "you people", questioning my honesty and education level, and finally threatening to use his records on me to charge $5,000 on one of my credit cards. Then he hung up. The operator refused to identify himself but spoke with a noticable Indian accent and based on the background noise was clearly in a busy call center.
