just got call from this number. They left computer recording that IRS is filing lawsuit against me. I should call back 202-407-9120. This is scam!

Got a voice mail message. A computer generated voice telling me the IRS was filing a law suit against me and to call a number in Washington State for more information on the "case file".

Got recently a call from this number, but they hang up before I answered. The caller was obviously located in Texas, US.
And I live in Sweden...
They´re probably out on some kind of cell phone-phishing.

I keep getting phone calls from this number, as well as a couple other numbers that I am positive are the same people just changing their number. I think they are just spoofing their number to a different one, not actually calling from that location. I am certain they are all the same because I have gotten these calls within a short period of time right after one another, and they all behave the same.

I answer the phone, and then about 10 seconds pass before a distinct computerized voice beeps and then says "Goodbye". In my opinion, they are testing to either have someone who is more vulnerable answer the phone, or they are wanting to check and see if we are home (kinda scary). Or they could just be checking to make sure its a valid number to pass on to some spam partner.

There probably isn't any way to stop them because they are not from the US.

Call from "Officer Ron Williams", (number apparently in Texas when I looked it up) states he is with the "Federal Crime Bureau" and that a complain has been made against my SS#. Very vague about specifices, wants me to pay this supposed debt I owe, I refused and told him I knew this was a scam and that I would be reporting him,he told me that I would have "consequences"

Just got a call from this number! Said that my P.C sent an error report to them...Ya right! I just told them to get a real job and hung up.
