This is a legit call from Social Security, message left, a reminder call for an appointment and if need to cancel let them know. It is a verification call on the time and day you will receive a call from them or visit to their office.

This (972) number is fictitious. They called saying I have an appointment. I do NOT have an appointment. I called both the (972) number and SS. The (972) was disconnected. Hmm.... Then I called SS themselves. Everyone on here saying the (972) number is legit is either lying or completley misguided. It is 100% a scam. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

Did not answer the call. They left a message saying they were following up on a letter re prescription benefits. As SSA does not call people, my guess is it's some insurance sales ploy.

Yes, it was automated reminder call for a telephone appointment I had scheduled for the next morning. It's not a scam.

Robert Roddy was showing on caller ID from Dallas. Left Robo voicemail message saying that they were following up on a recent letter I received about extra help with prescription drugs(part D). If I needed help to call 800-772-1213. That number is Social Securities number but why would they be calling me about a letter when I have all the information I needed in that letter.

this number called 972-497-1400 on April 14,2021 at 10;23 a.m. saying they were from Social Security about some drug benefits. I am on the Do Not Call Registery and I did not recogenize the phone number so I did not answer, but they left a message. They did not call me by name when they started out with the message. If they were Social Security they should know who I was when calling.Another thing Social Security will not call you.

Received voicemail l from this number checking on letter sent about help with cost of medications. It sounded legit, but I doubt it was because government agencies do not robocall us, and since when do they have the resources to follow up by phone on every mailing they send out en mass? We should be so lucky! But we’re not.
