They left a voicemail on my home number, i called them back and someone with a foreign accent answered and said he was with the Irs, i told him the Irs does not call people, they sent letter then he says if you don't have a problem with the Irs then just hangup, i told him they are a bunch of scammer and they just need to stop bothering me and then he hung up.

I received a robo call that says it's from the IRS Criminal Division and this is the second and final warning. I am to call this number 973-200-4689 back. No one came on the line, they didn't ask for anyone. IRS will contact you by mail, not via phone. I am reporting this to the IRS.

automated message stating executed by U. S. Treasury from IRS and demanding call back this number to avoid criminal action. Baloney. IRS DOES NOT notify in this manner. No personal names were given. This is obviously a scam - scare tactics !!

They called me today at 11:20 today is June 3, 2016 they left me A voice message to call 9732004689 because my phone was one of the Number they choose that was going to receiving money from taxes. Its just spam

This is the second call I received. Now it said it would be the final call before a lawsuit is filed. Are these people crazy? Who is falling for this nonsense?

I just got a call from this number at 8:35 A.M central time. They claimed to be the IRS on an automatic voice recording; saying to call them back as they are prosecuting me. I did not call them back.

I got the same call just now at 6:20pm .I did not answer the call.

I got call from 973-200-4689 and same VM like above, thanks to this web page i was almost calling them back.
if federal wants to reach me they might use the mail service rather than notifying with the phone call with no name of me.

I just got a call from this number 973-200-4689 asking to call back the number or else face federal court. I called back and a guy with a heavy accent answered, so I started asking questions about the call, who he was, his ID number, and the name of the company he worked for. He said his name is officer Michael black of the IRS federal dept. He got upset that I was asking him questions instead of him asking me questions, I didn't give him chance to speak, so he said he would close my case and report me to my local police dept. He hung up. I called back and spoke to officer max jorden, I decided to play dumb and went along, he verified my name, case # ADR59832, and told me of the 4 charges against me - tax violations, tax by deception, willful misrepresentation, tax evasion to govt organization from an audit conducted 2009-2015. Claimed a package was sent May 3rd and delivered May 9th signed for. I said I didn't receive anything and my husband didn't sign for anything, asked for the name of who signed it and he wouldn't give me. I asked for payment arrangement so he said he couldn't but when I told him I would pay next week, he said he had to get it authorized and to hold on it will take a while but don't hang up. I hung up. My husband said how is the charges against you only if we file jointly. Glad I saw this chain.

message saying its the IRS... it's a scam, I called back and told them to come get me, guy barely spoke english, I told him I'd be waiting with a beer and a 12 gauge

My message said there would be federal charges against me if I did not call back. The voice was electronic sounding and warned it was the final time they would attempt to call. Good!
