They called and when I picked up they evidently didn't realize I was on the other end and I heard this conversation. They were joking about "another sucker" they got and laughing and one was heard make fake orgasm sounds. Just a bunch of sick predators. When a man finally realized I was on the line, he automatically went into this script and then asked me if I wanted to lower my interest rates. I pretended to be very excited by the prospects and since it was my lunch hour had fun leading him on and asking him a bunch of stupid lengthy questions to irritate him. All the while I chewed my lunch loudly and apologized that it was my only time to eat. I kept expecting him to hang up but he never did (and I suppose because this is how desperate these people are). Then I took a cue from an old Seinfeld episode: At the end of my break I then told him, "Sorry but I have to go but want to definitely follow up with you. Can I call you later tonight?" He told me he'd not be there but I said: "Oh, it's alright, give me your home number and I will call you later." He was silent and then said: "I don't want to do that." "Oh," I said very politely with a sympathetic tone, "I guess you don't want a stranger having your number and calling you I suppose?" "Yeah, sorry," he replied. "It's OK," I continued, "I totally get it. I feel the same way and now you know how I feel," and hung up—but not before making faking an orgasm. Best lunch break ever.
Each day I receive several calls from this number even though I am on the "Do Not Call" List. Each time, my phone rings once and the call goes directly to my voice mail. Each time a message is left regarding "lowering" my current interest rate to a rate that is actually many times higher than what I am currently paying. I am told to return a call to them if I am interested and to have my financial information available to take advantage of their great services. I have just blocked this number AGAIN.
Man claimed to be ISIS USA calling to raise fund for a big job in the US!
They have called my home repeatedly and have asked them to stop calling. The calls continue. I believe it's the same company.
