I work 2nd shift so I normally sleep late. Call came in from this number and woke me up. This is the 2nd call from this number. This time was on my cell but the 1st time on 3-2-11 it was my home phone. I always answer telemarketer calls so I can waste there time. when I answered a robot message came on and told me do not hang up etc etc. I do not know the rest of it as I only listen close enough to hear what button to push to get to live person. When this chipper souding girl came on she said her name and ask who she was talking to. I told her Alan (not my real name). She the said "How are you doing today Alan?" I said " Real good, until you called!" I was going to string her along until she said the following (reading from her script) "That's good." (Big mistake) At this point I start to come unglued so I said " You think it's good that you woke me up?!" She the said "No, I am sorry that I woke you. Can I tell you about the promotion?" I said, "Sure, go ahead and waste my time!" At this point the line went dead. These companies have no consideration for the people they are trying to sell their products to so go ahead and answer their calls and waste their time. As it is a robo call they do not even know who they are talking to.

Just got a call from this number. Let my machine answer. Dialer hung up.

I've gotten many calls from this number and have asked several times for them to take me off their list, months later and they still haven't. How can I stop this invasion of my cell phone? They said what the previous person reported, it's a security systems sales pitch, they said they work for a company called National Promotion.

Didn't answer. Figured it was just a telemarketer. Will report to Do not call--as if that does any good.

Got a call from this unknown number and I answered as I like to give Telemarketers the run around. The prerecorded message (do not recall the verbage as I only half pay attention to prerecorded nonsense) that said to press 1 to get more information press 2 if not interested. I pressed 1 as I know that if I press 2 they will still call again anyway. A man came on they line and asked my name. I told him Alan (not my name). He gave me the scripted sales pitch for GE Home Security system and asked me if it was something I would be interested in. I told him no. This seemed to confus him and he started again to convince me it was something I should desire. While he was polite and did not have a foreign accent these callers still annoy me to no end. I was on the phone with him for about 3 minutes wasting his time. If everyone that received these calls did the same and not buy the product being pushed then maybe they would stop calling.
