some one is calling my phone and asking about a credit card and i said yes thinking it was my new bank and so I called my bank and they sauid it wasn't them and to tell them to go to hell............

The person calls, you can tell they are reading a script. They tell me that someone in our family has completed an online survey and that person indicated that they did not have a checking account. So they were sending me a prepaid mastercard in the mail all I had to do was verify my mailing address.
Thinking someone has stolen my identity, because I never have answered a survey that way. So I try to ask the person information I would need to know to find out who stole my identity. They claim I can talk to customer service after I have recived the card, meaning they got me to give me my address. When I wouldn't I told them I wanted their name and number I was going to call the BBB, they hung up on me. I had told them not to call me back and they called me back the next day with the same line speech. This time I didn't wait, told them I had told them not to call me just yesterday and I wanted their name I was calling the BBB, they hung up on me again.
DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR MONEY!!!!!!!! PHONE SCAM. Put yourself on the Do Not Call List.

They call at least once or twice a day. If you answer they hang up and if you don't answer the hang up after two rings.

I called T-Mobile and the rep told me that I should make certain that I'm registered on the DO NOT CALL list for both home and mobile numbers and he also gave me a number for the DO NOT CALL list to file a complaint.

calls over and over all day. "ACHIEVE' shows up on the caller id. I answer and no one is there. I call back and get busy signal.

Man keeps calling 2-3 times a day saying someone in my household took a survey saying they did not have a checking account and that I would be receiving a mastercard in a plain white envelope. It sounds like a recording but when I asked who signed up for the card he avoided the question and told me "Gee I must sound pretty bad" and just repeated his script. I'm concerned about how they got my information and if someone used it to sign up for a credit card in my name.

First they say they were calling for "College Search", then when I told them to put me on the DNC list, they are saying they are selling cheap credit cards. I've never had to "BUY" a credit card. Pretty positive that these people are just wanting any information you'll give them so they can sell your info to other scammers, or if you'd give them money they'd probably be fine with that, too.

Number calls all hours of the day and hangs up when you answer. Number has a busy tone when you call back.
