Smae thing happen to me - now they have switched to calling me with an unavailble # so I cant block it. They call all day long, witht the same story as yours. Someone named Patrick called me on my cell phone, and pretended to be security at my job. When he called, the phone number came up as my job on the caller ID. He pretended to be security personnel at my job, and said that someone was calling my job, and was holding up the lines there, and they were claiming I was being sued. This "Patrick" said to call this number, 978-666-0759, and talk to Eric, and just give them what they want so they can stop calling my job. So, I said, ok I will get to the bottom of this so let me call you back in about 5min. This dummy, Patrick, kept calling back from my work number, and knew something was wrong. I called the manager at my job to see if they had someone by the name of Patrick in security, and they said they do not have anyone by that name on staff. I filed a report with the FTC already. If anyone knows of any other legal agency that I can report these people to, then please let me know. Thanks.
