They call me on my work line frequently and there is no calling them back. Basically about loaning money I am approved for (and don't want).

Yes. Best solution to telemarketers and other unwanted callers. Get phones with caller id. Before answering the call look at the number and see if you know anyone in that area code, or you don't recognize the name of the caller (such as R. Dobbs). If you don't want the call just pick up the phone enough to break the connection and then hang up. Using this method I have only had one caller call me back. Remember that there is "spoofing" software that can be used to make you think the call is from your own area code, and I have even had caller id identify that it is me calling me.
