They said they were from Microsoft. Told them I don't have Windows. The Indian guy called me a f****** as***** repeatedly. I wouldn't respond. Then more profanity. He finally hung up.

Similar story - man with an Indian accent calling "from London" at 10PM my time (making it about 4AM in London) to tell me that my PC was infected. Wanted me to run a command from the command prompt (I didn't take the time to learn what command that was) and told me that the virus name was "trojan". Attempted to lecture me on what a virus is. Ignored my request for a name for the infection so that I could research it. Was oddly belligerent for someone trying to get cooperation... I finally hung up on him, though I was surprised he didn't give up on me first. Extremely persistent.

Yup. Indian guy who gave the name Dominic Wilson, and he said that he was from Redmond. Said he wanted to get my Windows License Key because that would tell him all the problems that were on my Windows computer. I let him know that I was getting ready to go to bed - it's after 10 pm, and he said, "Well, I'm calling you because it's that urgent a matter." I played along for a while (my fake battery even died while I was talking to him! "It sounds serious!" I said with great concern) and then finally admitted that I actually have an Apple. And I said I didn't want to get any more calls. We'll see how that goes.

Indian guy called me saying he was from Microsoft so I told him if he ever calls me again I will track him down to rape his sacred cow and shoot his elephant in the crotch. Well not really but i thought about it for a second. ;)

Same experience, man with Indian accent insisting that he knew I had a computer and that it was an urgent technical call. I told him I didn't have a computer and asked for a number to call him back at. He wouldn't give me one so I bid him a good day

Called me at 11 at night. It was a woman with a heavy Indian accent. She said that she was calling from Windows and that it registered with them that my computer had downloaded a virus. I told her that I did not believe that she was with windows and I wanted her to give me my serial number. I told her I had 5 computers and I needed to know which one. She told me that they are all on the same license. I told her that she was wrong and she didn't know what she was talking about. She said it was for my Windows 7 computer. I told her that I didn't have a windows 7 computer and she finally said ok and hung up. SUCH A SCAM!!!

Called and told us that our computers had malicious files on them. I told them that I work in IT and that I know that our computers have no malicious files yet they were insistent that they did. Very heavy Indian accent. Clearly a scam. Told them that I was not interested and to please stop calling.

Called twice saying he is from Microsoft Windows US and they want to "fix" our computer. Had a heavy accent. First time husband hung up on them. Second time I told them we have no computers. Bogus scam, well known fakers.
