I have received numerous calls from this 1-989-641-6089. Initially I ignored them, then I answered and asked to never call me again as I know they are scammers, then I answered and blew an air horn in the phone. I received yet another call, and this time I engaged "Eric" in conversation for about 15 minutes. I have to admit, it was a little bit of fun for me. Eric told me he had my PC license number, and it was sending error messages to windows. When I asked him to give me that number he asked if I was in front of my computer and he would show me how to look it up. My response was "Yes, I am at my PC, but I'm not turning it on. If you have messages from my computer, you should be able to give me my number.” He finally gave me a long number which is likely bogus. Eric then upped his game and said my computer would be disabled in 29 minutes if I did not allow him to fix my virus. I told him I'd take my chances and asked him for a return phone number. He initially refused, but then said he'd have to transfer me to the 'technician'. I was not transferred, as there was no change in background noise but another man came on and asked what my problem was and why I would not allow help. He gave me a return number of 1-800-211-5656 (I did not try calling this, but I did try to look up on a reverse phone site and there are no details associated with the number), and then began to describe my house, lawn, and the cars in my driveway. I congratulated him on his ability to use a phone directory and Google Earth Street View and asked WTH that had to do with my computer. His response was something to the effect of “we want you to know we have the right computer”. We went back and forth a few more times and I ended the call with the help of a loud whistle. As a side note, these gentlemen did not seem to like it when I chuckled at their tactics. I have not received another call back, and it's been over 24 hours.

At my in-laws, who are at least smart enough not to fall for this. They've just called three times in the last 20 minutes, it's after 10 pm and my kids are asleep. I told him to never call this number again and asked him if he got it. I got called a bitch and he hung up.

Company has called three times today, at 7 AM, mid day and again at 11 PM at night. They have gotten me out of bed from sleep TWICE in one day. I am on the do not call list and they were told to stop calling on a previous day. How can I stop this harassment?

"Name Unavailable" called my landline this afternoon. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message. Blocked, ditchrats!
