I received a call on my answering machine, I was to call Canadian Express and give them the code number 555162. No such company exists. This was very disconcerting. It must be a scam, however, I am not sure of the point . They did not leave a return call phone number. Thank goodness I did not fall for it.

I got the same call on Saturday in Toronto. I am expecting a package from DealsMachine.com, so I thought the call was in regards to that delivery. Maybe it's just a coincidence.

This sounds like a recorded message. It has no phone number to call for the package. What is their point?

Same thing here. I am expecting a package and since they did not left a number to call I googled it and found this. I am so sick of people trying to get something from you and trying to scam you on the phone. Something needs to be done!

same message same code 13221638716. Same code 5526, what are they trying to get? Strange because they don't even leave a number to call back on like any normal company would do. Call display gave a number that isn't even in Canada.

What if the scam is this very site, i.e. they call you, you come to this site, you purchase their app? If the caller was trying to scam you, they'd give a real phone number here in Canada or direct you to a website. As it is, the call leads nowhere... except here :-)
