Was also contacted by a Marsha and then a black man claiming to be from Standard Bank to send me a platinum card I must submit my credit card nr. I got my wife to contact standard bank while on the line to them they know nothing about this company or tel nr. Its a scam.

Marsha called me claiming to send a platinum card to replace my credit card they spoke so fast I also thought it was the bank and I stupidly gave my credit card number after a while I got a feeling its a scam I called the bank and they knew nothing about it. So the cancelled my credit card very quickly.

I was just called by the exact same people and also caught of gaurd too and they spoke so fast fortunately I phoned Std Bank and reported and stopped it too. Please be careful.

please be careful of these scammers who say they are acting on behalf of standard bank and claiming to be marketing american express platinum cards.
I've was defrauded of R1795 on Mon 16 March 2015. Was caught off my feet for a minute and gave them my credit card number and immediately realised afterwards i was caught for a sucker!Stopped my card immediately and they still have the audacity to phone me back again today and ask if i'm interested in this same deal again!! Told them to get lost in the strongest of terms@$$%
