They have tried 4 times today and I just keep them going, put them on hold and bungle just about everything they tell me to do.... I eventually tell them that I am a Software Developer... click!

Yes these guys are idiots - "Are you the main owner of the Windows PC" I don't even use PC - I'm a mac user for the past 23 years... I told the "punda" that there i s15 computers in this office with one has got the problem - so he put the phone down - Damn - I was hoping for some good entertainment - I had the Bar-code of my screen saver ready to supply as an serial number to the idiot... And when you phone back the number does not exist... what a shame...

An Indian women called me on this number with the same old story about checking my PC. Threatened me with liable, telling me I could go to jail etc, because a told her she was a scam. Told me that she was from the MS Support Office in Johannesburg even gave me their number (which was probably false). Started shouting at me that she was going to block my computer and that I would have to take it in to the Service Center for them to check. When I asked her what was wrong with my PC and what were they checking for, she told she's not going to tell me and put the phone down.
