Caller from Spain...community rating said SPOOF...pretending to be Booking.com or Priceline.com. These 2 have a weird, if not fraudulent relationship. You call priceline, they transfer you to booking,
You get a price... Next thing you know, you have 2 identical confirmations, two charges. Booking disguises their actual price by calling the room rate "Total Price", all throughout the confirmation. They will not allow you to do a screenshot, the actual price (including taxes and fees) can only be found under an obscure and mislabeled link. I recommend you not do business with either company because 48hrs later, I still do not know whether any of these fraudulent charges were dropped. A govt level investigation into this cabal is needed.
