Also using 020 8638 0865 - same thing, fraudsters pretending to be HMRC trying to steal your money. I don't suggest call-bombing his number but if you do it puts their line out of action and disrupts their operation.
Just been called and told I have been reported for tax evasion and tax fraud. Also left an automated recording on my voicemail. Very frightening...

just received a call from this number, stated from HMRC, told me there was a miscalculation in my tax, when i asked why i had not received prior notification they stated that a representative had been to my door twice, when i asked why they had not left a calling card told they are not allowed to do that due to confidential information, i told them that as there are a number of scams including those proclaiming to be from HMRC he ended the call quickly stating i would receive legal paperwork through my door, and ended the call quickly
