Same experience as Ricky above on 18 July. Clearly a scam.
What's this about
HMRC do not leave threatening messages and will always send by post . Report these knobs to Action Fraud and they will persue
The caller was a recording of a British male stating that he was from HMRC and that an arrest warrant was being issued for fraud and that to press 1 if I wanted to avoid being arrested. I ignored the instruction which would no doubt cost me an absolute fortune in mobile call fees and blocked the call... avoid pressing any buttons!
