Exactly the same happened to me, claimed to be co-op and said i transaction had happened that wasn’t me, then pried for details! He nearly got me too
Told me to jump of a bridge and insulted me after trying to scam me.

Yes I was called yesterday the 30 Dec 2021 about this woman claiming to be co op back,and someone has used my account,be careful people.
Again, called me claiming to be from Co op Bank. With my assistance, £5k was moved through my bank account. Thankfully Co op realised something fishy and blocked my account. Please don't be conned like I was!
Received a text claiming needing postage for a delivery followed by a call from this number who claimed to be Co-op bank. Called Coop and its a scam.
